This month we are pleased to offer not
one but four canvasses representing some of the
most popular work of graffiti artist Banksy.
There is 20% off the normal price until 15th
July 2008 on the titles called; Hold on to Your
Love, Sweeping to a Brick Wall, One of These Days
and Your Monkey or Your Life. In total we stock
15 Banksy images...
Banksy
is believed to be a native of Yate, near Bristol
and to have been born in 1974, but there is substantial
public uncertainty about his identity and personal
and biographical details. Banksy's work features
striking and humorous images occasionally combined
with slogans. The message is often anti-war, anti-capitalist
and/or anti-establishment.
Subjects
include animals such as monkeys and rats, policemen,
soldiers, children, and the elderly. Originals
have now become very valuable at auction are said
to hang in Hollywood mansions and city boardrooms.
Once
hung on the wall, the frame is not seen, giving
the characteristic three-dimensional 'box' effect
of canvas art. Size 500mm x 700mm. The canvasses
are produced in the UK.
